The training company "ERGON" trains operators, maintainers and other professionals throughout Poland. We invite you to read an article on the operation and maintenance of the warehouse stacker crane, which is commonly used in warehouses and halls to transport cargo, among other things.

Training program

The training at our centre is conducted in theoretical form and then the trainee undertakes the practical part consisting of performing tasks under the guidance of our experts.

The scope of the course includes:

  • knowledge and regulations on technical supervision
  • knowledge of the electrical construction of the machine (power supply, drive, control)
  • regulations Health and Safety
  • basic technical parameters of the device
  • knowledge of the operator's responsibilities
  • operator behaviour in case of equipment failure
  • classification and subdivision of stacker cranes

Exam

The examination consists of a theoretical and a practical part, the practical part consists of testing the participant's knowledge of operation, regulations and legal standards. The theoretical test lasts approximately 30 minutes.

After passing the theoretical part, the participant takes a practical test, under the supervision of the examiner the participant carries out the instructions.

Where we train

We conduct training courses at our training centre in Warsaw, but also throughout Poland with travel to the client.

Training is provided in both closed and open formats.

Qualification certificate

After passing the examination, the participant obtains a qualification certificate issued by the Office of Technical Inspection, which is valid for 10 years. In order to extend the validity of the certificate, a free application for extension of the professional qualification must be submitted 3 months before the end of validity.

Entitlements for the operation of equipment under the UDT are recognised by employers in the countries of the European Union.

It is illegal to work without the appropriate professional qualifications.

Warehouse stacker crane maintainer

The course for warehouse stacker crane maintenance consists of providing the participant with practical as well as theoretical knowledge of all maintenance work.

The main topics during conservator training include:

  • maintenance tools
  • health and safety rules and legislation
  • emergency measures
  • maintenance plans
  • repair and maintenance work
  • information on the breakdown and function of the stacker cranes
  • technical and periodic examination.

Who can join the training?

In order to take part in a training course to become a warehouse stacker crane operator and/or maintainer, you must be at least 18 years old and have at least an elementary school education. Above all, you must provide a medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to the job.
