Work at height using rope access techniques
You will get the qualifications:
OTDL - working at height using rope access techniques (mountaineering training)
Carrying out work at height requires obtaining the correct authorisations. These are also referred to as entitlements ODTL (from Organisation of Rope Access Technicians). Participants in such classes gain extensive knowledge and skills in rope access techniques.
The high-altitude - mountaineering course run by ODK ERGON combines theory with practice, thus comprehensively preparing each participant to obtain the appropriate certificate for work at height.
During the training sessions, the following topics are discussed: the following topics:
- legal and normative information on working at height
- organising work at height using rope techniques
- equipment used for rope works
- Health and safety at work at height using rope access techniques
- rescue at height
The duration of the rope access class is x hours including the exam.
