Vocational training for tower crane maintenance technician
We would like to invite you to professional training courses to prepare you for the state exam before the UDT commission. We have qualified staff who share with our trainees not only their theoretical knowledge but also their experiences!
We run courses for future maintainers of tower cranes, HDS and mobile cranes.
The theoretical part can be done onsite or remotely!
Topics covered during the course
- construction and types of tower cranes,
- activities that the conservator must perform before, during and after work,
- technical documentation,
- emergency management,
- carrying out periodic examinations,
- Health and Safety,
- conservationist duties,
- cooperation with hookloader cranes,
- correct diagnosis.
Come along to our open training courses!
Business owners and organised groups are welcome to contact us. We offer closed-door training with travel to the client.
Tower cranes
They consist of a vertical mast mounted on a fixed or mobile chassis. In addition, they have a horizontal or pivoting boom.
Use of tower cranes
- transport of materials and steel structures,
- container transport.
Tower cranes are divided by:
boom type:
- leaning,
- cantilevered,
type of assembly:
- quick-fix,
- assembled in parts,
installation method:
- stationary,
- passable,
the location of the rotation mechanism:
- top-twist,
- bottom pivot.
Tasks of the conservator
A crane maintainer is a specialist who maintains and repairs cranes and ensures their safe operation. Their job is to inspect and maintain cranes on a regular basis to ensure that they are running smoothly and to minimise the risk of failure.
The crane maintainer performs a range of activities to maintain and repair cranes, including:

- Changing hydraulic oils and fluids.
- Implementing new technologies and improvements in cranes.
Mobile cranes
Equipment mounted on either a lorry chassis or a self-propelled chassis of special design.
They are mainly used for assembly and handling work as they can carry heavy loads at very high heights.
HDS cranes - mobile, handling
They are hydraulic truck cranes that have a crane mounted on the truck, usually between the driver's cab and the box. The crane may also be located at the rear of the vehicle. This type of crane has supports to maintain stability during operation.
