COURSE OF TRAINING

The Institute of Mechanised Construction and Rock Mining has developed a specialised course for operators and maintainers. It is conducted at a training centre or at an address specified by the client. The training itself is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. In response to the needs of the trainees, we offer the delivery of the theoretical part by means of online lectures. The practical part, on the other hand, takes place in our centres or at an address of your choice. We have a wide range of machinery at our disposal - all at your disposal. Benefit from the knowledge of our trainers; they will provide you with all the information you need to successfully complete the training process.

The theoretical part includes:

  • comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations,
  • learning about the construction and specifications of the chosen machine,
  • maintenance of technical records,
  • explore the principles of safe equipment operation.

The practical part consists of:

  • machine learning,
  • general operation of the device,
  • carrying out assigned practical tasks on the manoeuvring area.

EXAMINATION PROCESS

Similarly, the practical exam consists of two parts: a theoretical part and a practical part. The exam begins with a written test, after which the participant takes the practical part. The second part consists of driving on a manoeuvring area, demonstrating the ability to operate the equipment - including carrying out any tasks assigned by the jury during the state exam. A positive result consists of passing both parts. This guarantees certification to operate the machine and the creation of an operator's log book for the chosen machine.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

To be able to approach the training process as well as the examination, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old,
  • have a current medical examination,
  • receive primary education,
  • if you plan to drive the backhoe loader on public roads, you must also hold a category B driving licence; this is not required if you are only driving on the construction site.

AUTHORITY ISSUING THE ENTITLEMENT

A positive test result entitles the trainee to work as an operator or maintainer of the chosen equipment. The entitlement certificate is issued by a state institution: the Institute of Mechanised Construction and Rock Mining. In addition, an operator's log book for the machine in question is obtained. The qualifications are recognised throughout Poland and the European Union.

WHAT IS A BACKHOE LOADER?

It is a versatile device that finds its use mainly on construction sites. In its multi-tasking lies mainly:

  • loading of materials or other machinery,
  • transport of building materials.

Using additional elements can also:

  • snow clearing,
  • mill,
  • move plants - trees.

IMPROVEMENTS

The state exam, successfully completed, guarantees the trainee a vocational qualification with an entry in the working machinery operator's book. This enables the beneficiary to move and operate all types of backhoe loaders, including, for example, a backhoe dozer.

CLASSIFICATION OF ENTITLEMENTS

Construction machines such as excavators have been divided into classes, based on their use. The applicable classes are Class III and Class I certificates.

  • Single excavator: a person holding a Class III rating is authorised to operate machinery up to 25t GVW, while a person holding a Class I rating may operate all types of machinery without a GVW limit.
  • Backhoe loader: a person holding a Class III rating is authorised to operate machinery without restriction.
  • Backhoe-dozer: a person holding a Class III rating is authorised to operate machinery without restriction.
  • Multi-bladed excavator: a person holding a Class I rating is authorised to operate machinery without restriction.
  • Multi-blade chain excavators (multiple chain excavators for ditching): a person holding a Class III rating is authorised to operate the machines without restriction.
  • Bulldozers: a person holding a Class III rating is authorised to operate machinery with an engine power of up to 110 kW, while a person holding a Class I rating may operate all types of machinery without restriction.
  • Single loaders: a person holding a Class III rating is authorised to operate machinery up to 20 tonnes in total weight.
