Forklift trucks with a mechanical lifting drive are widely used in transport works on the premises of various facilities and outside them. They also allow for the transport of large loads of large sizes and dimensions, including loads stacked on pallets.

Persons involved in the operation and maintenance of this type of trolley should have proper preparation. In our ERGON Center, we provide access to professional theoretical classes and practical exercises in this area!

During the training sessions, the following topics are discussed: the following topics:

  • technical supervision of lift trucks with a mechanical lifting drive, incl entitlements needed to operate them
  • types of lift trucks with mechanical lifting drive
  • construction of lift trucks with mechanical lifting drive
  • proper operation of lift trucks with mechanical lifting drive
  • maintenance of lift trucks with a mechanical lifting drive - maintenance inspections, periodic maintenance
  • the most common failures of lift trucks with mechanical lifting drive
  • Health, safety and first aid when working with mechanically-propelled lift trucks

The duration of the training ranges from 10 to 20 teaching hours with the UDT exam for the operator's position and from 38 to 68 teaching hours with the UDT exam for the position of conservator of lift trucks with a mechanical lifting drive.

In case of individual requirements, the ERGON Center can change the thematic scope of the lessons, adjusting them to the client's needs.
