Through the course offered by our training company, every trainee can improve their qualifications and professional competence. We have been in the market for more than 10 years with a view to anyone who would like to broaden their knowledge and acquire new skills that will enable them to find a new and better job as a crane operator HDS.
Purpose of the training
The aim of our HDS crane operator course is to enable trainees to prepare for the final exam in theoretical and practical knowledge. It is also to familiarise you with the current regulations for working with HDS cranes and the proper use of cranes. By choosing the course we offer, you can gain a great deal of knowledge about cranes, which is needed in order to obtain the appropriate UDT qualification as an operator.
Training program
The training programme is based on the requirements of the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) and current legislation. Our centre takes care of the high level of knowledge imparted. We are committed to additionally preparing trainees for their work as operators - for everyday tasks as well as for unexpected situations.
In addition to practical knowledge classes, theoretical knowledge classes are held.
During the course, students will be taught the following:
- rules Health and Safety HDS crane operator,
- obligations and responsibilities of the operator,
- construction of the crane and knowledge of the safety measures of the machine,
- first aid,
- information on technical supervision,
- crane working regulations.
In the practical classes, students will learn how a crane works. At our centre, we offer state-of-the-art learning devices that are used in Polish companies on a daily basis. As a result, trainees acquire the knowledge and skills that allow them to obtain the necessary qualifications for their profession without any other additional training.
Participating students receive the necessary list of study materials from us, along with topics that may appear on the exam.
What are the requirements to be admitted to take part in the training:
- completion of the 18th year,
- minimum primary/high school education,
- a statement of health permitting participation in the training
Final examination
The course is concluded with a state examination before a board selected by the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT). The exam consists of a theoretical part in which the trainees have to write a test, while the practical part takes place on the premises of our centre. The examinee must demonstrate his or her skills in the use of an HDS crane in front of a commission from the UDT.
Successful completion of the examination will result in a licence to practise. Entitlements for operating a HDS crane are valid for 10 years.
HDS cranes - what is worth knowing?
Mobile and portable cranes are equipment that are essential for the handling of goods. These devices are mainly used in the construction, forestry and agricultural sectors. In order to become an HDS crane operator, we need a licence approved by the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT). Without these we cannot undertake work as an operator.
Questions and answers
For what period are HDS crane licences issued?
The qualification certificate that allows you to work as an HDS crane operator is issued for 10 years.
Can people without a driving licence take HDS crane operator training?
No, you need a category B or C driving licence to take the HDS crane operator course.
Does having a qualification certificate entitle you to work as an equipment maintainer?
Not, the certificate only applies to the occupation of HDS crane operator. For the modernisation and servicing of equipment, you need the relevant UDT maintenance qualification. Such qualifications can be obtained after special training and a state examination.
