Should we return machines for regular checkups?

Yes. Regular care of the machines minimises the cost of repairs that occur and reduces downtime. In addition, any equipment under technical supervision must have up-to-date technical inspections. 

Who is responsible for inspecting machinery?

The Office of Technical Inspection is responsible for the inspection of UDT machines. Our specialists will repair the machine and complete the necessary documentation. In this way, you will avoid penalties imposed by the UDT.

Does every machine have to be registered with the OTI?

Yes, each machine must be registered with the UDT. UDT equipment includes, among others, mobile platforms (scissor lifts and basket lifts), HDS cranes, overhead cranes or telehandlers.
