Previously, G1, G2 and G3 licences were granted for an unlimited period of time. Subsequently, the regulations changed several times and the entitlements can only be obtained for a specific period of time, so that in most cases it is now necessary to renew them. Under the new regulations, G1, G2, G3 ratings are valid for a period of five years. After this time, they should be renewed. This applies in certain cases. The obligation to revalidate qualifications then applies to: persons who have qualifications, but have not worked on the relevant equipment, installations or networks in the last 5 years persons who operate equipment, installations or networks and provide services to consumers and entrepreneurs: micro, small and medium-sized enterprises The qualification check can also be performed at the request of the employer. When can a qualification be obtained after the examination? A participant who has taken the training course and passed the examination can be certified approximately 10 working days after passing the examination.
